Description

Thoughtful and fun moves the whole way, with a variety of interesting rock structures.

Start up just left of small tree onto big ledge.
. . (Variation 5.9+ : start on R side of arete).
Next step right to the arete, then up on that to a gentle spot. Next diagonal up left to another gentle spot.
. . Variation 5.8 fun: Instead go up right through overhang with notch, then back left to rejoin main route.

Up to left side of jaggy flake, follow that to the top.

warning: The rock on and around this route has not been climbed much yet, and much of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber - (and if possible, behind a large tree).

. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2016. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).

Location

6 feet left of arete in center (lowest point) of main (SW) side of sector, with a 2.5ft-deep dihedral / open book just above, and a substantial pine tree about 30 feet above.
