The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Start to the left of a large hole in the rock.

Short people do a crimpy move to the horizontal, tall people go straight to the dike holds. Grab the horizontal dike and move left to the large plate of patina and mantle or pull yourself up. Stay just to the right of the ravens nest and climb the patina to the anchors.

To the left of Hair of The Dog and directly below the rappel route is the Dogsbody.

The first half is highly entertaining. Weird, burly 10a moves. The upper part is 5.8 and on wiggly patina. Belayers should stand back! Nov 30, 2018
