Description

Just right of the crack route "Hide and Seek" on a long broken pillar. It looks like the rock won't be great but actually it's good. fairly steep but is so full of jugs and edges it stays easy.

Location

Just before you enter main Atlantis area go right to rock face on other side of wash, you will find hide and seek, this route, then further up a little are a couple of short, easy sport lines as well.

Protection

9 bolts, shares anchor with Hide and Seek

Scott I want to do a route to the right that summits. Let's go fix the anchors and do the line to the right. Will most likely be 3 pitches to the summit:) Jan 1, 2018

I thought the location of the anchor worked well for both. However, maybe longer chains would help, and could be used to maximize equalization by clipping into them in locations best for each route. I certainly wouldnt have a problem with the donation of chain to the route Dec 28, 2017

Is there a reason why there aren't independent anchors for this route? I'm not sure who established Hide and Seek, but the anchors there aren't great. The anchor bolts are placed extremely close together and if you're cleaning Ali Cat on rappel you're putting a lot of stress on them. Dec 16, 2017
Our climbing party found that the left anchor bolt was spinning a bit, so keep an eye out. It's a really good beginner route, but watch for loose rocks. Oct 30, 2017

Great route, easy climbing & safely bolted. Feels like a 5.8 gym route. Watch for loose rock. Apr 8, 2017
