Description
Classic rockaneering up the river side of the main massif. This is probably the easiest way to the top of Petenwell Bluff.
Pitch 1 (3rd/4th):
Scramble up-and-to-the-right on an obvious ramp from the base of the massif to a saddle. At the saddle, move the belay (if you used one) by heading west across a slight gully falling away to the northwest.
Pitch 2 (Easy-5th):
After crossing the gully, you will find yourself deposited on a nice flat ledge at the north end of the main massif. Mantle onto the summit plateau and walk south to the summit block.
