DescriptionThe first bit of unvegetated cliff you encounter coming down from the quarry and a classic at the grade! The route is clear and involves some enjoyable crack climbing in the fingers and fist size ranges. The route apparently used to feature an overhang that was passed with a fixed point of aid- this has long since fallen off leaving an enjoyable free climb on the stiff side of VS.
Climb earthy ledges to a left-facing corner, which is climbed via a wide crack and face holds. Belay at the wide ledge above or simply continue up a short tower bounded on its right side by a wide crack and right-facing corner. Ascend a nice vertical finger crack diagonally up and right to reach the prominent crack seen from below. Place some pro here and blast up on fun fist jams/arm bars to glory at the top. Belay from trees and walk off.
