Description Suggest change

Start near the dead tree with your right foot on a hold at the base and your left foot up waste high on a small corner. After standing up and adjusting hands, shoot for a "acme" handhold that juts out. Begin the traverse to the left all the way to near the wall passing several cruxes, keeping your feet up high and not on ground boulders.

At end of traverse, look up to find the beginning of a crack. Follow this up the face an right. Use small chalked up foot hold above which is a good edge you take for the exit lunge to the top lip, don't fall here.

Location Suggest change

From the route, you can see the highway bridge and the river below. The river makes a S-turn past the bridge. Where the S-turn begins heading east is a large slab. A couple of hundred feet above the slab is a large, standing, dead juniper. The climb is behind the dead tree.

Protection Suggest change

I yoyo-ed this until I got the nerve for the exit, the exit is easier than the traverse.

Placing a pad in the right place may be a problem. I would not know, since I didn't use one for this climb.
