Description

Route is left of Route #26, the furthest left climb on the slab in the Fasulo "Rock Climbing in CT" guide.

Note the COMMENTs relative to LOCATION. NOTE: On 6/13/18 I moved this route further left and added photo.

P1 - Climb the face and outside corner, moving right near the top to avoid the small pine tree. ( 5.8 - 5.9 ?)

I think your rt. 26 must be the arette to the right of the corner/ dihedral system of "back in time ", which is the furthest left route on the wall. Said arette is an excellent toprope climb. Goes at about 5.9 or so. There are some sidepulls on the left of arette that are "on". May 13, 2017

Micah is right. Your description (moving right near the top to avoid the small pine tree) compared to the "Back In Time" description (top of left facing corner, then trend to the right of small tree at the top of wall) puts this route to the RIGHT of "Back in Time" Mar 28, 2018

Looking at Micah's photo of the dihedral of "Back in Time" I think Micah and Bill (Ivanoff) may be correct, so I will move the climb; but someone should look at the left-face of "Back in Time's dihedral (sort of leading to a smaller corner corner above) as my feeling is THAT is what Sheila and I TR'd (which would put the climb left of "Back in Time" as I originally had it.

Maybe someday I'll get back to CT and look. Mar 28, 2018
Left of Back in Time quickly becomes a 4th class scramble before you get to the regular descent. If there is anything in the 5.8 range over there it is very contrived Jun 13, 2018

On 6/13/18 I copied the photo from Back in Time and added what I THINK might be the route line, BUT: 1) It was a long time ago, and there's no "scale" on the photo, i.e. how far left of the corner is my solid line?...1-2 ft or 5-8 ft ??, and 2) there may be an "outside corner" further left (off the photo) and THAT may be what we did. (i.e. what does the outside corner that's just barely visible at the top left of the photo look like at the bottom??) Jun 13, 2018
