A variation to Scala that is significantly easier, less scary, and probably more fun. Stand start same as Scala except do so with your feet on the Dust Boulder (huge boulder on the right). Layback the arete for a few moves until reaching a slabby pedastal. Shake out a bit, stay calm, and punch out the last 5 feet up similar t(but slightly easier) terrain.


Same as Scala.


An ocean of pads/spotters, falling off of tthe seccond half of this thing is no joke.

I think it is. It's a very different problem than Scala due to the way you climb it (layback rather than tension) and is probably just as good if not better. I think it does deserve it's own page. Sep 8, 2016
