Dark Side of the Moon

Description

This problem is basically a sit start to Vaino Problem. Start down and left over the pit with big feet and some underclings. Move out to a greasy sidepull and then up to a handful of bad slopers. From here, figure out some techy foot trickery to get yourself over to the sloper from Vaino Problem and then finish as for that problem.

Location

In the cove with Johnson Arete & Vaino Problem. On the same boulder as Vaino, but starts down and to the left.

Protection

The crux move can be a little sketchy and upside down depending on how you do it so maybe 2 pads and a good spotter to boost the confidence.

[Hide Comment] So I broke the left starting undercling. But my friend troy did it and still says it's the same grade. Nov 30, 2020

[Hide Comment] Haven't seen anyone use the bump beta, but for the taller folk there is a way to just kind of bump off the sloper if you find the right feet... Feb 11, 2022
