Blue Sky and Rhino Horns

5.8, Sport, 60 ft,  Avg: 1.8 from 12 votes
FA: Keith Beconsal?
New Hampshire > Rumney > Prudential

Description

This is the route on the far right starting from a wide chimney and climbing the long wall on the left. I heard rumor that Keith B put it up, I guessed at the grade after climbing it and watching a couple of friends on it. I haven't heard a name for it. Please inform me and I will update the information.

A really fun addition to the cliff! varied terrain and techniques up a highly featured piece of high quality rock. I was really surprised this one had been hiding in plain sight.

It is now clean and well bolted so I thought people should know about it.

Location

Far right end of the cliff starting in a wide chimney.

Protection

Bolts to anchor. We racked 10 draws and had enough. I forget the exact # used.

[Hide Comment] This route deserves a name. Good climbing after the often-wet start. Very well protected with big fat glue-ins. Yeah, Lee, we guessed 5.7/5.8 for a grade too.
Funny, met Keith on our way out, forgot to ask for a name and grade. Sep 4, 2016
