Directly below Orange Lichen Line sits a gorgeous boulder with two excellent problems. Both sit start on the overhanging arete.

This line trends right through sloppers and crimps, finishing with compression moves on the far right arete, then into an easy but slightly heady slab finish.

Probably the best V4 in the state, if not the midwest. Folks gotta try this rig!

Base of Crane Lake wall.

three pads would be ideal

If it's not the best in the state it is absolutely the best V4 north of lunge or plunge... Sawmill and Sandstone have nothing as good at the grade. Such a rad time cleaning and sending and the rock quality is among the best I have ever seen. Also, this may be the northernmost established Boulder in the lower 48. It sits about 2 miles as the eagle flies from our brothers to the North. Aug 22, 2016
