Description

This is climb # 9 in the guide.

START - Down and right from Madigan look for bolts leading up to a shrub ledge with a definite gap in the bushes. (photo) This is about 30-35 ft right of the right-side of the "vegetated buttress", and is a few feet right of a 4-trunked tree that is close to the cliff. (with a 5-trunked tree down and to your left.)

P1 - Up past bolts to the ledge; gear (small-to-med. cam) then 2 more bolts to the anchor. 5.8

P2 - Is 5.9 (see "guide") and there is a variation to the right after the 1st bolt that is listed as 5.7.

Descent - Rap the route with a single rope.

Protection

Draws and a light rack of small and medium cams.

The 5.7 variation on the second pitch is excellent. Getting from the first to the second bolt looks very unlikely, but has just enough features to be reasonable. Sep 29, 2018
