Description

Head up to the mantle/ledge, rest, and pop out onto the face for a stretchy crux move. Continue up easier climbing to the sustained top out. Named after the common sounds coming from the nearby locals. :)

Location

Right route on wall

Protection

6 bolts plus lower offs. Medium cam can be used to protect run-out after 3rd bolt but not necessary.

This turned out great and makes a stout warm up for the wall but still the easiest sport line here. 11a feels fair, maybe 10d if you hit the sequences right. If you're onsighting this, a cam at the crack halfway is nice to protect a little runout, but not necessary. Sep 1, 2016

I wouldn't call this a warm up considering the pumpy moves up the flake to reach the incut ledge for a needed rest. Move out sharply left and pull up to the horizontal crack. Bring a #1 cam to place here to protect runout. lets up slightly for the last 3 bolts but will still keep your attention. With some beta, like I had from Troy probably 10d, on-sight 11a.
