Description

Starts in a short dihedral section, then a cool 5.10 undercling crux is followed by easy climbing. A strong 2.5 star climb.

Location

On the left side of the main wall at Avalon, just to the left of a distinctive smooth slab ("The Holy Grail 5.11").

Protection

Quickdraws (10-12), 2 bolt anchor with lowering 'biners.

This is a great climb! Actually more like 5.10- (what Steve had rated it). Easy climbing at the dihedral to a slabby section a small roof (crux) between bolts 4 through 6, then eases off again to some really fun climbing. One of the longer routes in the area. Be careful pulling your rope on this climb; there are a couple of spots in which a rope could get stuck. (I've seen it happen.) Jul 25, 2016
