Description

Eight pitches of really good limestone sport climbing, broken with a few bands of chossy ledge. Helmets absolutely mandatory; 100% chance of at least small loose rock coming down if another party is on Roter Punkt, which shares two belays with Kontinuum!

Absolutely worth it, however.

P1 6c Stout climbing right off the deck. Head straight up, using some easier holds to the right at the top.

P2 5c+ The chill pitch, up easy ledges

P3 6c+ Money pitch! Hard moves to the right around a bulge, moving back left to the belay

P4 6c Nice crimping action, again moving right and back left

P5 6b Straightforward climbing up, past a ledge of loose crap, then over face

P6 6c, 2 p.a. ... Very tough climbing. Initial bit has a fun little roof, then overhanging face with tiny crimps. Choose wisely what you want your 2 points of aid to be! Probably ~ 7b free

P7 6b Fun climbing up and left into a corner, belay on a big block

P8 6a+ Big finish! Traverse far right under huge roof, then make a big move up to final crimps.

Location

Right-most route on the Meteorit sector of Cheselenflue (left of the waterfall).

5 abseils with 2x 50m ropes will get you down.

Protection

Bolts. No gear needed. Wear your helmet from the approach to when you leave the area!
