This is the 'unnamed v1' on Bryce's map. It goes straight up the big face next to Provia via good crimps. Stand start on a LH pinch and RH crimp. Snag a LH crimp and lock off to a good RH edge. Grab the juggy lip and mantle. Great climb with varied movement up the aesthetic face. Definitely worth doing. I learned this name from a local I didn't recognize who said he does this climb all the time and has always called it that. I thought it fell in the hard v1 range. Regardless of the name and grade, just go and do it!

When looking at Provia, to the right of it there is a dihedral, and to the right of that is the slab where this climb is situated.

A few pads.

You can sit or sqaut to start this also, is mabye one grade harder and more full value. The moves down low lead nicely into the upper onegGit!

I agree some were loose, but I didn't think any would pull off. I think it's really fun despite the iffy rock quality. Jul 14, 2016

If I recall properly the crimps on this face are all pretty fragile, some were loose. Decent movement but the bad rock quality really detracts from it. That is unless the loose stuff has all come off leaving solid holds since last October. Jul 14, 2016
