climb the juggy bulge, paddle over the sandy gulley, then climb the upper headwall via jugs and nipples. You can avoid the sand section and just climb the upper part by belaying from the big ledge midway up but you’ll miss some steep muggy moves at the bottom. . Access the ledge by traversing in from the base of the “Quickjug” route up around on the far left side of the crag.

10 bolts + 2 Fixe ring anchors.

Climbed this one today and found it to be a good route for practice. The start and the end earn the 5.8 rating while the middle is like walking up a hill. Watch out for sand and rocks getting dislodged onto the belayer. We passed 2 snakes on the approach. One we didn't see until we it rattled at us as we passed it. Aug 4, 2018

2 stars for unique holds and nice movement through easy terrain (and to boost the average a little over 1 star) Fun route. Good holds... until the crux.

Feel free to clean small rocks out of the middle section when belayer is clear. This section is getting much cleaner now than it was on the FA. Helmets are good. Belayer should pay attention to stuff above. Oct 27, 2018
