Description

This is the long red buttress just uphill from the black slab, at the very top of Silverback gully. Long, beautiful arete climb that passes several roofs and overlaps with lots of cool patina. Can be done in 1 or 2 pitches.

Location

Found at the very top of Silverback gully facing straight downhill.

Protection

23 bolts unless done as 2 pitches. p1-13 bolts, p2-10 bolts. Mussy anchors. 2 rappels with a 70m rope. It's a stretcher to the ground.

Good route. The rock on the upper pitch felt a little brittle but will clean up with use. And the green lichen is more slippery than the orange. Oct 26, 2016
