Keeping climbs open depends on maintaining good relationships with locals and monks Details

Great, well-protected, beginner climb. Sandie and Paul fired the FA of this route on lead after only having been climbing for a couple of months. The route is named after a German, children's tale.

Fourth line from the left on Karaweik Wall. #4 on the Karaweik Wall Left topo photo. Starts on the slab and finishes to the left of the tree.

7 bolts and 2 ring anchors. Stainless steel, glue-in wave bolts installed on 5/19/16.

Good clipping stances and well-spaced bolts make this a great beginner lead climb! Jun 11, 2016
