This is a religious site. Access in this area depends on being respectful and keeping up good relationships with the monks. Be overly respectful and nice. It also wouldn't hurt to donate. Details
Keeping climbs open depends on maintaining good relationships with locals and monks. Details

Description

Starting in the dihedral and the second from the left line on the wall, Colombière is an excellent, consistent, and easier route. Named by Clement and Juliette in remembrance of their home climbing area. Don't be intimidated by the roof at the beginning of the climb. The line goes somewhat around the roof.

Location

Second route from the left on Karaweik Wall. #2 on the Karweik Wall Left topo photo. Starts in the dihedral to the left of the slab. The anchors are located over the lip of the cliff, just out of sight.

Protection

8 Bolts and 2 ring anchors. Stainless steel, glue-in wave bolts installed on 5/01/16.

Fun mounting the face after the first slab. To gain the anchors, stay left after the last bolt and reach right to clip the anchors. Follow the good holds! :) Jun 11, 2016
