Description Suggest change

Really fun route as a nice intro to climbing Capacete. Crux is after the first bolt on pitch 4, just after the plants. Trust your feet and the friction. Mostly slab., with some small traverse sections and dihedrals

Location Suggest change

The hikes can be hard to figure out as there are many cattle trails. From República do Três Picos, Mascarin's house, the the dirt road trail into the park and past the park's building and walk-in campground, about 1 mile/1.6 km. After this are a few signs for Fata Morgana and CERJ, a little past this, on the left, is the entrance. Hike towards the mountain for about 40 minutes. Descent is on the east face, down the route for Sergio Jacob. Is about 5 rappels with two 60 meter ropes. . Summit book at the top.

Protection Suggest change

Mostly Bolted. Can solo/scramble up the very end. Need about 10 -12 draws. Can bring some cams/nuts for other sections. Two 60 meter ropes
