The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

A slabbier and slightly less protected version of Tabby Treat at Suicide Rock. (Hell, Faith Healer reminded me a bit of Graham Crackers.) Route wanders through the gully and can finish at the sappy tree. (Tabby Treat also has a tree landmark you can't miss.) The crack moves to reach the tree are the steepest and involve jamming/chimneying.

Location

Gully to the left of Norm. Rap from the tree or venture further on your own adventure to the upper tier.

Don't want to hate but didn't feel like 5th class to me and was pretty dirty. You just go straight up toward the tree from just left of Norm, right? I tried to continue up toward the top of Leap Erickson via a short hand crack, but the rock quality went downhill so I retreated. Mar 26, 2017
