Description

A unique crux move to the right side of the arete leads to cool moves on the narrow ridge above. Alternatively, one can face climb the back side of the arete rather than moving up the narrow ridge. Big blocks are solid.

Location

furthest route to the right on Upper Sky Valley wall

Protection

Bolts and chain anchor

The second half of this climb - from the spooky blocks, around the corner and up to the chains - is classic. A solid 2.5 star climb. May 15, 2016
