Arizona > Southern Arizona > Mt Lemmon (Sant… > Mt Lemmon (Cata… > 1 - Lower Highway > Crags Against H… > Discard Pile.

Description

The crux of this route is not wandering left into the land of choss. Start out with good holds for the first two bolts and then things get a little cryptic.

Keep it together and you will find yourself grabbing giant crystals just below the chains.

Location

Middle route at "The Discard Pile"

Protection

6 bolts to chain anchors.

[Hide Comment] Nice and fun route. I found it a bit stiff for a 10a, especially when compared to the 5.9's at the same crag. Jan 1, 2017

[Hide Comment] I updated the rating on this route. I climbed it yesterday for the first time in months. Due to the crumbly rock and traffic the lower half is solid at 10+ now. It's also a little bit of a hold hunt as everything blends in. Jan 6, 2017
