Technical moves up the arête lead to easier climbing. At the ledge, continue up the thin crack. Shares anchors with HESH. The lower arête can be used as an alternate start for HESH.

Prior to the FA, two ginormous dirt clods blocked the final moves. There was an epic battle between Jack and the dirt clods, in a rare instance of ice axe use in HK. There are some very sharp and shallow fingerlocks on the upper portion which gave the route its name. May 1, 2016
