[Hide Comment] Great, fun route. I gave it 3 stars. I’m not sure why anyone would give it (and the routes to the right and left) a bomb. I suspect (tho I don’t know) it might be concern for rock quality, but I thought the rock quality was fine. Yes, this is Red Rock and there’s some choss. But if you gave bombs to every route at Red Rock that had any choss, likely 1/2 of the routes would be bombs. Perhaps if you declare a route a bomb, you might note why in your tick or in the comments section if your ticks are private. (Did a hold break, was it run out, ground fall potential clipping?) Then other climbers can make an informed decision (and perhaps bring a cam, or a stick clip or a stiffy) rather than just being scared off or left to wonder. Just a thought. Dec 11, 2024
