A steep snow ramp leads to the center of an amphitheater with many options available from WI4- to WI4+. A short second pitch of WI3 leads to another 40' step of WI4.

Steep and beautiful route. After going up the snow ramp and getting into the amphitheater, you can make a nice, safe belay on the left side. That ramp you came up can turn into a bowling alley. There are still a few steps of WI2-3 after the main WI4 wall. As you exit up and left into the base of the upper gully, find the belay of slings on a block on the right. Use this if you want to rap or continue up and right to the 2nd shorter amphitheater. If you want to continue up the gully, there's a tree further up on the left, though this may make the line quite the rope stretcher. Up there gully is a short ice step and then a larger one a bit further up. The better option is the 2nd amphitheater.

If you go up and do the 2nd amphitheater, you will have to bushwhack for an anchor up top on the left side; the right side has a couple trees further up and right. From here, bushwhack up and to the far left to find the gully that eventually leads back down to the top of the 1st pitch. There is a rap anchor on a tree on the right side of the gully, near where you'll likely pop out. From here, two ropes will get you all way down to the block/rap station and from there back down to the start. Mar 12, 2018
