Description

Ascends the obvious gully on the South side of Guye Peak. Cruxes involved negotiating chockstones and moving out onto and up the South Spur. Fun ramble close to the pass. Climbed in the summer, also gets climbed in winter under the right conditions.

Location

Locate the obvious gully around the South side of the mountain, scramble up the gully until forced climbers' left onto the face for a little bit.

[Hide Comment] I've never heard of this being done in the summer, but it is a fantastic winter climb. Steep snow, some AI2 and steps of AI3 can be had if conditions permit. Highly recommend! Aug 30, 2016

[Hide Comment] I don't think i'll be recommending this to anyone soon for a summer time solo. Aside from discontinuous rock, vegetation, thick piles of pine needles, and gully looseness, the obvious access to the route involves trespassing. I'm sure its more enjoyable with the correct winter time conditions. Jul 31, 2019
