Description

Start matched on the 7 inch rail with a good low foot. pull a big throw to the sloper, match the sloper, slap left for the higher slimper, come in to the corner with your right hand, pull one more move to the last rail and drop off. You are able to top the boulder out, but it is a very painful scraping mantle to a 20 foot slab which is terrible, so I like to drop off the highest rail before the slab. This is a pure power line, requiring a lot of core tension and some heinous crimping for the start. If you are looking for a burly power fest on Mt. lemmon, this is it.

Location

furthest boulder down in the gulley. follow the stream bed down as it runs directly under the boulder.

Protection

pads. your foot will hit the pad if it is too close for the first move so I move them far enough back to protect the last few moves only.

[Hide Comment] No need to drop off the boulder. Mantle is easy with good beta and the slab isn't as sketchy as it looks. If you're scraping on the top-out something is wrong. The pad dab didn't seem to be an issue either, Nate and I padded the bottom just fine. Jan 6, 2020
