@Jack, there must have been rainbows in the sky that day. This route is better than the neighbor to the right but "basically perfect New Jack rock"? I actually claimed that if this is the first wall/crag you come to at NJC you'd leave disappointed and claiming the area was total choss. Fred isn't a total bomb, but there is much better to be had. We went back and repeated this route a couple of months after the fa. It's a fantastic route on basically perfect New Jack rock. Mini crux passing the 1st bolt, good slab climbing up to a steep finish (crux). Well worth going to, deserves more stars. Apr 18, 2016
