This is the steep line to the right of Flight School. The cruxes are the obvious roof and steep sections above and below in the upper half of the wall. Doing both routes would make for a great day and worth the long approach.

Approach as for Boulder Grand Pass - just below Lake of Many Winds, hike north a short distance to the base of the wall.


Standard alpine rack to 3 inches plus #1 Big bro goes in bomber at the lip of the roof. The new RMNP guidebook suggests #5 Camalot - this would not fit and is not needed - I'm not sure I could even walk to the base with a #5 in my pack. # 1 Big bro works perfectly for the funky lip and is much easier to carry. A #4.5 Camalot might work.
