Electric Jellyfish

5.11b, Sport, 45 ft (14 m),  Avg: 3.3 from 4 votes
FA: Steve Edwards
Utah > Wasatch Range > Central Wasatch > Grandeur Peak > Reef

Description

In the Ruckman guide, there are two unnamed routes, 10 and 11, that share an anchor. Both of these are silly as they start with boulder problems and quickly become easy 5th. The hangers had been stripped. Electric Jellyfish starts on the 5.11 boulder, then heads up the steep headwall to the anchors of November Sun. This is, for sure, one of the best routes at the crag.

Location

Pretty obvious, although it's hard to see the anchors of November Sun so might be worth scoping them before starting.

[Hide Comment] That photo with "Birthday Challenge" is this climb. There are three other anchors now immediately to the left, and a handful of harder climbs to the right. Lots of good movement here, through good holds that get better with funky feet. Jun 16, 2023
