Start under an obvious flake on the corner that faces The Rainbow and near the dead tree. From the flake, the problem moves out right exiting on the vertical/off vertical face.

Joel Brady did this route shortly before he left the area in 2006. The route was named after the body position required and the clothing company that sponsored him at the time.

See above.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for your efforts documenting some of these problems. This is, in fact, The Sickle, but the description is not quite right. Start on the obvious feature down and right, grab a couple tiny holds on that right face, then a long left hand reach to gaston that obvious flake up and left. Match the flake (crux move) and reach up and left to lip. Top out there.

I put this up after talking to Joel and after getting a few emails about hard routes and projects in the area. It is a bit of relic, so it would be good to get a repeat of this problem to confirm the location. Joel reckons it's pretty hard for the grade but may be a little easier for taller climbers.
