Description

Intense, amazing, technical and unrelenting. That is Black Cobra.

P1 Same as Red Lung. Move belay right 50 feet on big ledge. Belay takes fingers gear. 5.7 R 100 feet.

P2 Crank up black jugs and sidepulls to the Black Cobra jug at the 3rd bolt. Now prepare to strike! From the shelf, power tech up the arĂȘte crux past the snake eye pockets to the jug ledge. A hard mantle awaits you before a respite from the pump is granted. Style cool features to an optional thin hands placement before the chains. 5.12-(+/-) 80 feet.

Bonus points available by finishing up P3 of either Heavy Metal Saturday or Red Lung.

Location

Start in the Notch between Slingshot Rock and the Camels Head.

Protection

1X BD#1C3-#1C4 for P1. P2 9 BoltZZZZZZ!!!!! 70m works best for 1st pitch rap.

Really hard for .11-. Sustained pain in the forearms. Far better than most sports lines in Sedoner. High quality stone, and wacky power climbing on a steep face.
