Description

Nice, long moderate route with (a lot of) blue bolts. This route starts by climbing up a small pillar of rock toward an obvious crack in a dihedral. After the crack, fun face climbing on big (drilled) holds takes you over a slight overhang and up to the anchors.

Location

This route is just right of the 10b, Prisoner of Society. You can't miss the obvious first blue bolt on the pillar of rock that marks the start of the route.

Protection

13 blue bolts lead to chain anchors with fixed biners.

Used to be a big 5.8 chalked at the base of this one and that felt right to me when on it. The slabby crux section up top may be height dependent and a bit heady for someone new to leading the grade. Fun long moderate for the Quarry! Jan 29, 2016

This route does not see enough love and is a bit over grown but is well worth it, especially if you’ve already made the approach up to the main wall.

Great first climb to warm up physically and mentally and a good way to kick-start the day. Easy, engaging, lengthy climb. All bolts and the anchor are in good condition. 3rd or 4th bolt could be tightened a bit but other than that it’s a solid, fun line. May 29, 2023
