Private property all along the old access road. Access from Rocky Run ATV trail is all on NF land. Details
The boulders atop 2nd were originaly accessed via the obvious 2nd Mtn Road. Unfortunately, this road is lined with private property and the landowners have had more than enough of hunters and climbers parking in the road at the NFS gate and blocking some of the last driveways. Access from Rocky Run, 100 yards further down the road, is all on National Forest land and is a nice warm-up hike.
DescriptionThis route was listed as unclimbed on climbing.com so I went up and found it a bit crimpier than a v0.
Start on the far side of the satellite boulder, past the roof to the left. Start matched in a pocket (it is usually spray painted green) and make your way up to some small crimps and get a high right foot. from there you can probably reach the top out jugs.
LocationThis is on the left most side of the Satellite boulder, which is the first boulder you see on your right after hiking u the fire trail. It has an obvious overhang you can not miss.
