Please refrain from scratching directions to popular problems into rocks! Details
I realize that many boulder problems are hard to find here, but all of Columbia's bouldering is on the campus of the college or in the state park. It hurts our case for access if any graffiti can be linked to climbers. Recently, I found that climbers had etched arrows into Lance's Arete pointing to Cellar Door and Dan's Cave. This can't happen here without risking closure (or as one of the faculty puts it, ";there won't be any more spongebobs on the weekends";).
DescriptionStart low (sit start for tall people) with a high right crimp and a low left hand around the arete. Hug the prow and work your way up to the point, mantling out left.
I'm sure this route has been done before. If anyone knows FA info or the actual route name, let me know and I'll change it. There is likely another sit start variation to the right, too. Maybe V4 or better...
