Private Land-gate closed and locked by nightfall. Details

A fantastic beginner lead. Start at the center of the slab, under the prominent right-facing flake. Move up the slabby blocks into the base of the flake system; pull out onto the face and layback the flake. Don't forget to look out westward at the view as you cruise up the prominent feature. Bonus points for sunset ascents. Most of the "climbing" is done after the flake, but you can continue on 4th class terrain to extend the route (particularly relevant on lead).

Follows the prominent right-leaning/facing flake system that sits at the center of the slab.

Several small trees for anchors, also many fractured blocks which take pieces up to 2".
