I've seen this described as an eliminate, though no one bothers to mention what holds have been eliminated. As far as I can tell, the nice jug/crimps are off, as marked by the red X. Circle marks start.

[Hide Comment] We were unsure which holds were on and off, the ones we used were: the starting hold, the undercling pinch but not the jug above it, and holds on the right arete. If you were to eliminate more holds on the arete it might be harder. That being said, the arete was the best climbing on this contrived problem so I would recommend just enjoying the ride. [Hide Comment] I think by the "pinch" described in the original guidebook, they mean the sloping edge inbetween the good undercling and the jug, it's roughly along the same line. However all the holds in that area might just be entirely off which would require using the bad right crimp and be much harder. Nov 28, 2021
