Description [Edit]

Climb a short crack/layback to the left-angling overlap that protects nicely. It is a little tricky placing pro, as the climbing keeps you kind of outside of the flake.

Location [Edit]

This is left of the gully that divides the West-facing wall from the South-facing wall.

Protection [Edit]

A standard rack. The layback takes a #5. It looks like it takes a #4 from the ground. There is potential to hit the ledge below the layback if your belayer is not on his game.

In the picture, you can see the #5. After the layback, go left of the tree for some unprotected face climbing, go right of the tree and stay in the crack, or stand on the tree, lol and go straight up. If leading, don't fall or you will need to have the tree removed from from your nether regions. Nov 17, 2015
