P1 & P2: Climb the first two pitches of Star Trek/Celestial Path.

P3: Climb up a white streak past a bolt to an overlap with a bolt. Pull the overlap (crux) and belay on the higher tree ledge (5.6; 100').

Location

Start as for Star Trek/Celestial Path, up and right of Across the Universe, at the etched "ST."

A very enjoyable pitch, perhaps the old 1/4" bolt will get replaced. A rap with a single 60m rope will get you back to the double bolt anchor at the end of P4 he (This variant to Star Trek starts at the end of P4, not P3.) so why not include this pitch on any "outing" to the Star Trek area!

To get to the Big Tree Ledge and the Upper Tier, climb the brown slab to the trees. 125 ft 5.4 R/X ...or, walk down to the right 35-40 ft and join "Night Climb for 2 Knights" Nov 11, 2015
