Description
This is easily one of the best routes in the 12- range at The Pool Wall. It has sustained climbing with distinctive cruxes.
Start on a moderate face with one belay bolt and two protection bolts which leads to a large ledge. From the ledge, a sequency section of crimpy and powerful climbing leads up just left of the bolt line to a roof. Surmount the roof via slopers and crimps, try to shake out at the sloping ledge, then embark up the finishing face of sidepulls and fingerlocks. This is a great route on superb rock. The original grade in the guidebook was 11d/12a. 12- feels about right for the onsight grade.
