Aptly named with much of the route under 5.7. All the fun is in the last 20 ft. Can get down with a 60m, but watch your ends if you have reason to believe your rope is short.

From the main trail, follow one of the many faint trails headed up and along the right-hand side (east) of Terrapin. Sandy Line is the obvious ramp/corner near the center of the formation.

Nice, shiny bolts the whole way, with anchors and rappel rings. Takes 8-10 quickdraws.

Great route for beginners, novice leaders, or a nice warm up for the adjacent routes on the center section of the Terrapin. The hike in is easy and well marked. Saw lots of traffic over the fourth of July 2016. Glad to see this area getting some attention. I would recommend taking a 70m rope for anything in the pins and needles area or carry two (good practice anyhow). Had to get creative on a few routes with a 60. Be sure to knot your ends!!
