DescriptionThe story goes that Adam, after a hard day projecting in the cave, saw this line while walking back to camp. He dug 10 cams out of his pack and onsight FAed The Trip on natural gear. When he got to a natural ledge, he plugged his last cam in, called 'off belay', and hauled up a drill and bolted the line so we could all enjoy it.
Whether, that is true or not, this is a superb line. Climb the slopey crux of Berntsenbanden, and inch left to a desperate clip before some power moves to an ok rest. From here, you can never really get entirely off your hands and there is 20 meters of sustained liebacking on the best holds you'll ever touch on an 8a+.
Pure endurance. If you've got it, this will feel easy. If not, well, try and find the rests...
