Description

This climb starts on the left hand side of the rock face. You will see fist crack that angles up and to the left. This is the start of the climb, and also the crux. From there, pass through the gully and up the weakness in the rock. The upper portion of the route is closer to 5.4 and very much choose your own adventure.

Location

The rock face can be found at 47.466761, -120.941196

If you take the standard trail to Ingalls lake, head uphill NW towards the rock outcropping. This is found about 100 yards before the turn off that takes you back to the camping sites.

Protection

Standard rack up to 3" will do fine. Gear anchor at the top. There are many nice cracks at the top for your anchor, and a walk off can be done to climbers left (shorter) or climbers right (longer).

It sounds like this is not on Ingalls, but instead on a separate outcropping.

If so, does the outcropping have a name? Conversely, if not, where is it in relation to the other routes on Ingalls?

Thanks for posting it - Sep 8, 2015

The area doesn't have a name (I could give it one :-). I was trying to make sub area of Ingalls, but it wouldn't let me do that.

The area is about an hour South of Ingalls peak. Sep 8, 2015

Thanks, I moved the routes to its own area.

If you prefer a different name for the outcrop, click on "Improve this page" and suggest it. Sep 9, 2015
