This route packs a whole lot into one pitch. The crux is a compression boulder problem similar to Child Abuse or The Caning, but two lesser cruxes involve bouldery face climbing on positive crimps. The route starts on the prominent arete under the first bolt. Prepare to use three aretes, power face climbing, and a little bit of body position mastery as you fight the pump and solve the sequences. It is easy to top rope Masquerade off of the anchors, and a worthy link up between the two could easily yield the hardest route in the lower gorge.

Out in jungle land, right of Masquerade.

8 bolts, anchors have fixed steel biners for cleaning

Haha I found that bolt hard to clip too, spent awhile figuring out the stance for it. There is basically a redpoint beta for that stance...

Super psyched someone finally went out and repeated it! Apr 22, 2016

Went and did this a couple days ago. Great route and as classic as Child Abuse. Consistently challenging from bottom to top. I found the 7th bolt to be really hard to clip if you are short. Apr 13, 2016
The tiny sage plant right next to the anchors, it smells like victory. Sep 4, 2015
