Description
Awesome adventure route with some wild exposure! Yeeehaaa!
P1: 5.7 - Climb past the short opening face to a series of relatively clean ramps to a belay on a good ledge. Use a long draw or two for drag 120ft
P2: 5.6 - Follow bolts up shallow groove left of the belay, then traverse right side of 10ft saddle to another bolt, scramble up and left a bit to a great belay with chains. 110ft
P3: 5.8 - Follow bolts up and right onto the exposed face to a semi-hanging belay on a small ledge., 80ft
Possible to link Pitches 3 and 4 with alpine draws.
P4: 5.7 - Clip a bolt up and left from the belay with good exposure getting on the face. Climb up to the summit after passing a through a band of basalt. 90ft Walk Up and right over to the true summit and sign the register!
Descent: From the top of this route, the rappel is up and left on the back side (as for all summit routes) near a stand of fir trees.
