Details
While the access to this area is public, please stay on existing trails when heading to this area, land owners in the upper valley are concerned about the formation for spider paths. There have also been occasional run ins with rangers.
Description
This route, like most of the routes at Independence, seems haphazardly bolted. Either you're climbing through run out terrain with poor gear or clipping a bolt every three feet.
Fun techy climbing on pinches and side pulls.
There is a runout to the chains which can be protected by a weird cam or a brown tricam.
Location
This route is just right of the dirty choss gully.
Protection
7 bolts, small gear 00 to .5 and one larger piece, maybe .75 or a 1.
