Description

This is the furthest left route on the west face of Hawk Tower.

Location

Left side of west face of Hawk Tower in Dreamscape Area. Scramble up rock and bushes to the separate start, or start at the "toe" of the rock and traverse left into the left most crack/face line on the left side of the west face.

Protection

Full rack, slings to tie off knobs, quick draws for a bolt or two (and for extensions). Bolted rap anchor on top.

[Hide Comment] The 2 bolt anchor on the block at the top of the formation is poorly placed for rapping off. The 2 bolt anchor at the top of Counting Sheep (5.9 up the middle--excellent!) is a better option for rappelling (60m rope OK w caution to boulder start), but awkwardly placed for topping out. Be careful if you switch anchors! Sep 5, 2016
