The route starts just left of the off-width ( on right side of photo). Move up the face to the obvious stances, then angle up and left to a stance on the arête. Move up to the overhang, pull yourself up, then finish up either face. That's how I did it.

[Hide Comment] Climbed this on top rope. Fun route, but it seemed stout for 5.5. Jun 30, 2019

[Hide Comment] Yup....Acadia is pretty stout. Check out "history" in one of the older guidebooks...basically a competition between Gunkies and Acadians for the "toughest grades"....but then there's the 'dacks ! Jul 4, 2019

[Hide Comment] Set up a TR on this climb using the same anchors as I did for The Great Chimney. Climbed the great chimney first, had static line into three cams. Cams were placed a bit to the the right of the GC in anticipation of them using them for Child’s play and not being in the way for the next group who wanted to get in GC. Set up with a top managed belay with a fixed line for a backup and to assist with the lower. youtu.be/QWG3py9dA94 Jun 30, 2023
